Newbie here. Really want this to be my year! This time next year I want to be a cheerleader for someone else struggling to lose weight.

Welcome!
Step 1 You're here
Step 2 Set goals. Start with your small ones
Step 3 Create that plan to get there -- it will change over time. That's ok Start with this week.
Step 4. No Failing! We all fail, that's how we learn... so time to learn things and keep going!
Weeks 2 and 3 are when it gets hard and many quit. Why? Week 1 is riding on the high of the decision. Week 2, you're getting into a groove, but missing some of that favorite junk food.
Week 3 - The mind games "Nothing has changed, I haven't lost a pound - or I've only lost 2 or 2 pounds - why bother!!!!" and stop.....
Don't let the mind win!
Your body needs this! Be that cheerleader ! NOW and NEXT year You can cheer on others while on the same journey
