Thin mints

I am ordering my girl scout cookies now. Thanks for letting me know it is girl scout cookie time. I endulge in one box and order my kids one box each. Just enough to get my fix for the year. Enjoy everyone!0

I found out you can "order" cookies but have them donated to the troops. It's a way to support Girl Scouts without having cookies around. I'm all for eating what fits in your calories but have a hard time with self control with cookies.3

This reminds me I have leftover Girl Scout cookies in the pantry from last year and I just ordered more *facepalm*
Thin mints are the best but I actually like trefoils (shortbread) too. And samoas. And the lemony ones. I get tagalongs for my husband
As long as you log what you eat I think it's ok?0 -
One little cookie is not really a problem. The problem lies in the reality that I never eat just one. The moment I put one in my mouth, I become like a shark in a feeding frenzy. Before I realize what's happened, I've eaten half a box. Stupid, delicious cookies.0

Look at your calories over the week, then fitting in cookies on one day, isn't really that big of a problem!0

I buy them and then wrap the serving sizes individually in saran wrap. I can rationalize the calories and the $4/box better if they last longer!1

Oh, man. I just placed my order. They need to hurry up and get here! I'm totally making a couple of GSC fit in my day, every day, until they are gone!
I also donated 2 boxes to the military troops.1 -

One time I did that. I calculated how many calories was in an entire sleeve. And I planned one Sunday afternoon to have that sleeve of cookies for my lunch and snack while I watched a movie. LOL.3 -
Mmmm I love thin mints! So good frozen.1

You got this! Maybe prelog one or two for tomorrow? I like to make cookies go farther by crushing one or two up into my yogurt. Then I have this little meal that tastes awesome and like cookies rather than finishing a cookie in literally two bites.
What a great idea! I hate to eat yogurt plain - I usually put some nuts in it, but this would be a great treat now and then too!1 -
Update on the thin mint saga! I got one of those little snack ziplock bags and I set aside two servings for myself of the thin mints and samoas. Every night I allot cals for some sort of dessert typically those little tiny ice cream cups. These can replace that if I am in the mood for cookies and now the boxes themselves are off limits to me and the fam can enjoy.6

My wife bought some knock off samoas from the store, I gave her the nonapproval glare...now just to stay out of the cabinet.
On another note, As I've lived in the South and Midwest, and now the Upper Midwest I find it interesting that different regions call the cookies by different names.0 -

I am just going to eat a whole box in one sitting and get it over with. I am not going to suffer through rationing. Just order one box and be done. that is what i am going to do. I will also try to exercise more that week and watch my calories the rest of the week. Its like a girl scout holiday. One bad eating day that i won't feel bad about.1
