I am hoping to lose 10 lbs in 10 days on the cabbage soup diet to get me motivated and kickstarted in 2018. Following that I will be following the 17 day plan. If anyone would like to join me on this 10 day kickstart please join the challenge.

Unhealthy, unnecessary and unsustainable.
Weight loss does not need kick started.2 -
Not a good idea. These diets are what keep people fat in the long run. Patience is your friend in weightloss, and a calorie deficit. The people that are successful long term on MFP have done it the old fashioned, boring way. For the lurkers--read the success posts, and see how they did it. You won't find cabbage soup.2

All you're gonna lose is 8lbs of water weight, maybe a couple of pound of fat, the water weight will go straight back on the second you start eating normally again. You'd lose the same amount of fat eating normal food in a deficit.

Echoing the posters above me. Bad idea. Nothing needs a kickstart. Just eat food you like in a deficit and let the weight come off slowly.0
