Keto diet and gaining? Help!

I have been doing the Keto diet for 3 weeks now. The first week I lost 3 pounds, and now I have not only gained back then 3 pounds, but also 2 more on top of it! I keep my calories at 1200 and my carbs are under 20 I have been tracking them daily. What am I doing wrong? Please help!

    Calories decide on weight going up and down. Not keto. Are you measuring your intake with a food scale?

    Could be what the previous posters said about not accurately logging your food - it's common to underestimate portion size.

    Also, are you eating lots of dairy and nuts? These tend to have more calories in smaller servings and can really distort your food intake. Concentrate on lean meats and good vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, etc.

    Oh, and think about the fats you cook with - if you use butter or olive oil a lot, then you need to be sure to log how you're cooking the food as well.
