Hello all! Quick question.. My actual heaviest weight was 200lbs, which I slowly worked down to (my MFP SW:) 155. My CW: 138lbs. Which starting weight should I put on my ticker? I worked hard getting that first chunk of weight off, but don't want to be 'cheating'. What do u think?

you earned that loss... and it's technically not cheating... go for it, put in your original start weight.
when i started here, i put in the weight i 'thought i was'... then changed it when i found out what i 'actually was'... that's when i put the ticker up, and have been taking this seriously.
you earned those lost pounds.. i don't considering it cheating so much as 'fast tracking'0 -
You're the one who lost the weight... how would it be cheating to include it on your ticker?0

You earned it, show it off....As you see on my ticker, I earned every pound of it and am VERY proud of myself to show it. I have come a long way and have accomplished a lot...So have you share it!!! Awesome Job!!! Keep up the good work!!0

so, mine has my high from when i had bariatric surgery 7 yrs ago. my sw for mft is only 11lbs ago. i use it as motivation to see how far i have come. you earned thoss lbs. use them.
btw, caps are hard when using one hand and holding your cereal bowl in the othet. please excuse not using them.0 -
You worked it off. Put your original one. The weight loss on your ticker is to brag about the weight you’ve no doubt struggled to lose. My fitness pal is simply one vehicle you used. Go ahead and put your original weight…..think of how inspiring you will be for others.
p.s. congrats!0 -
The bottom line is... do whatever makes you happy. You earned that weight loss so feel free to put it as starting weight on your ticker.... shout it from the mountain tops - you are awesome!0

When I found this site, I had already lost 13 lbs, since starting this. When I put in my SW...I put in the weight I was the day of my surgery (cuz it was the most recent and doctor weighed amount...lol). So my first weigh in showed me losing 13 lbs. But it was over a month and a half before signing on here.
Your weight loss journey starts....when you get serious.....and start dropping the pounds. Not when you sign on to this site.
Use your original weight! You should be proud of every pound you have removed off your body.0 -
You lost that weight! You better show it off!0
