Strength Training Help Needed

I need a basic strength training routine I can follow at my gym. Where are some good places to look for routines that I can do a few times a week? I've been training with two different trainers 2-3 times per week since last October but can't continue more than once per month.
I know it's not what I should have done, but I mindlessly followed them around the gym and did whatever they said. It was 6 a.m. so I wasn't really paying attention. I didn't think I would have to stop seeing him.
Yes, I've asked him to send me what I should be doing but it's been a week and still haven't heard so I'm really just not sure what I should be doing.
Thanks for the help.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/exercises/
That is an AWESOME site to look thru...Find the muscle groups and find an exercise you want to do, then go to the next muscle you want to work and do the same...Create your own... Its not hard but remember, you need to change the workout every so often to confuse the body. In the *Body Sculpting* class I teach, I use this site for different ideas. We use NO machines as you get a MUCH better workout using free weights and your own body weight & stability balls.
Muscles to hit:
WARM UP FIRST
CHEST
ARMS (BICEP & TRICEPS INDIVIDUALLY)
SHOULDERS
ABS
QUADS
HAMSTRINGS
GLUTES
STRETCH ATLEAST 5 MIN AFTER!!! Stretch all parts you worked.
BACK
Best of luck and if you need help with somethings, dont hesitate to ask.0 -
I bought theSupreme 90 day Get Rip. The excerises are great and can be used in the gym and at home. You need yoga mat, weights, and excerise ball. Also, look at excerise tv . Good Luck !!! ;-)0

Sarah-I usually break up my strength training by upper body/lower body routines on the advice of my trainer. A sample of what I do is
One visit - Bicep curls with dumbells, ez bar curls with barbell, hammer curls with dumbells, overhead tricep extensions, tricep pushdowns, tricep kickbacks
Next visit - Machine chest press, bench press, flys with dumbells, Overhead pulldown, one armed rows, seated low rows
Next visit - Leg press, step ups, squats with medicine ball, shoulder press, side lateral raises, front & side lateral raises combined.
I also do abs with each of these routines ranging from crunches, hanging pullups, roman chair knee ups, leg lifts and planks.
Two days a week I do just cardio and with one of the strength training visits I add 30 minutes on the treadmill or elliptical.
This is everything I did to lose my first 41 lbs prior to MFP. I fell into old habits so I am just starting this routine up again with the assistance of this site. Hope this helps! Good luck with your journey~you can do it!0 -

Thanks! I have bought supplements there and protein powder but never thought they had things like that. Wow. Very impressed. And best part is it's FREE!0
