Hello,
I've been following a ketogenic eating plan limiting myself to 25g of carbohydrates a day.
I really enjoyed eating lots of fat but found it difficult limiting my veg intake.

I signed up to iifym and adjusted my macronutrients accordingly in mfp (p143 f56 c205) However I'm really missing my fat intake and don't feel the need to eat 205g of carbs. If I swapped my carbs and fats intake (not gram for gram but percentage wise) would I still loose weight or would this defeat the object of having my exact macros calculated

Also is it ok to eat a high fat low carb ratio however not low enough to enter a ketosis state?

Thanks

Your weight loss is determined by how many calories you're eating. If you want to eat fewer carbohydrates and more fat, you'll still lose weight.

Yes, it's okay to eat more fat and fewer carbohydrates.

How will my body composition differ then. I understand macronutrients are more to do with body composition than weight. So would swapping not have a detrimental effect on my body composition

Assuming you're getting sufficient protein, choosing to consume more of your remaining calories as fat instead of carbohydrates isn't likely to hurt your ability to meet your body composition goals. Where are you right now and what are your goals?
