How to share food diary with friends

Does anyone know how to share their diary with their mfp friends? I've checked the permission in my settings already.

  It's under settings/Account settings/Diary settings. On my monitor, I have to scroll down a little to see the diary sharing options. On a phone - I don't know.

  Are you using the app or the website?
  In the app I clicked settings and diary was right there. I could change my diary from private to public.
