Warning: songs below may have explicit language

I like to go to the "trending" music videos on youtube, they're usually pretty dancey and pump me up for a run!
    Yoga - Janelle Monae
    24K Magic - Bruno Mars
    Bodak Yellow - Cardi B
Trini Dem Girls - Nicki Minaj
Side to Side - Ariana Grande

    Other songs:
    Realiti - Grimes
    She's a Rejector - of Montreal
    UMO - OOIOO
    Water Fountain - Tune Yards
Daydream in Blue - I Monster
Run the Jewels - EVERY SONG on RTJ 1 is great to run to

Warning every one of these songs may make you want to punch something :) I lift alone and angry. It is cathartic for me and is a huge reason I lift. This is only a short sample but I am sure you get the idea.

    Break Stuff - Limp Bizkit
Killing in the Name - Rage Against the Machine
Down with the Sickness - Disturbed
    Mouth for War - Pantera
War Pigs/Luke's Wall - Black Sabbath
Jekyll and Hyde - Five Finger Death Punch
F**k wit Dre Day - Dr. Dre
    Hit 'Em Up - 2Pac
    What's My Name - DMX

Solid list. I love Yoga- I think it's a brilliant song- for a lot of reasons besides just being "fun"

Being said- my go to is more metal- but I float between worlds.

Five Finger death punch pretty much rules my metal play list- I should branch out- but I kind of don't even care to.

To get control of the music at my gym you have to do burpees; I just listen to whatever they put on.

When I'm home, I like The Ramones.

    Hmmm. How many? ;)

It would also depend how long I got to control the music. Like, if I got the music for the rest of the time I was there, it would probably be worth it. But if some schmo could just do 15 burpees right after I did mine and I only got one song, I'd be grumbly.

    Headphones FTW! :D

Also, this is my favorite workout track:

You didn’t provide a genre you like, you just said, “ the kind you sing to in the gym”. Super generic.

My taste runs from Lamb of God to Childish Gambino, and all in between.

The way I find new music is I use Spotify. I play a radio station of an artist I like, or that I’m in the mood for, and let it run. As I hear things I like, I save them to my song list. Pandora is similar, except you can’t save song or make playlists. But, you can select an artist and it will play related music.

By doing this, I learned that I like Nikki Minaj. Haha.

I use spotify. I make playlists I use for my workouts, traveling, playing with games on the phone etc. I heart Spotify.

I have 9 songs on my phone totally 30 minutes. I start with Bryan Adams - I finally found Someone (slow beat). Then I go to Last Dance - Donna Summer, Vacation - Dirty Heads, Fever-Peggy Lee, These Booths are made for Walking-Nancy Sinatra. Arrivederci-Jack Sheldon, I'm Every Woman-Chake Khan, and the slow down is with Barry White - Can't Get enough of your Love. I love all kinds of music. Good luck.
