Rapidly approaching 62 and want to get back into shape, drop a few, (a lot actually), of pounds and lower my blood pressure in the process. Just had shoulder surgery so I am a little limited on the workout I do, but I still can use elliptical, thread mill, and abdominal exercises. Need some encouragement from time to time. My passions are tennis, mostly doubles, riding my rode bike and hang gliding. I am getting back to tennis somewhat and my bike, but the hang glider has to wait until I can lift it up onto my Jeep.

    Hi there.
I have been on MFP 2 and half years.
117 pounds down. ( so far).
Take heart. I have had a stroke. While movement is limited, weight loss IS possible.
I have just been taken all my blood pressure medication and two lots of pain relief medication.
    I am 51.
    There is hope.
Just take it a day at a time and stay positive.
    Feel free to add me.
I am happy to share my experiences.
    All the best.
