Peanut butter and anything, Mix it up put it in whey protein powder, on sandwiches. Ive been known to eat it right out tof the jar, one of the most calorie dense vegetarian foods you can eat, make sure its the pure peanut stuff not reconstituted with rapeseed or sunflower oil, cheap peanut butters remove the better fats that come with peanut oil.

Also whey protein if youre lacto vegetarian is an absolute godsend. Dollar for dollar cheaper and more bioavailable than any protein besides egg protein. Hardboiled eggs are also an excellent option for the ova vegetarian. Regular calorie surplus for extended periods is required for natural muscle gain which is most easily achieved by smaller meals and protein throughout the day.

I'm a non vegetarian. But I've never cooked it. And also, non veg food is not allowed in my hostel. If chicken smell goes to Rector I'm gone for sure ,lol. I eat boiled eggs daily though

Idk if you have ready access to whey protein, but even the bulk unflavored stuff will seriously increase your protein intake throughout the day because (trust me) you will get burned out on hard boiled eggs. Whey protein is shelf stable dry at room temperature for extended periods which makes it ideal for your situation. Im vegetarian and have been bodybuilding measuring calories for 3 years, I started at 145 lbs and now weigh 195 with similar bf% whey protein and 10 tbsp or more of peanut butter a day are the only way I hit calorie goals of 4k a day. Dont be afraid to eat anything, and clean bulking on a budget is entirely possible, Do your best everyday to hit those macros and keep working out and you will gain muscle in no time.
