Got this recipe from Tate and Lyle. They are so soft and scrummy! 163 cals in each slice (i made 12)

115g butter or polyunsaturated spread
75g Tate & Lyle Fairtrade Demerara sugar ( i used Tate and Lyle granulated white sugar, you can use less sugar, i think i did but i can't remember!! )
3 rounded tbsp Lyle's Golden Syrup
250g rolled oats (porridge oats)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
2 dessert apples, washed

preheat the oven to 180C/160Cfan/ gas 4. Use a 20 inch square tin or like me, i used a 20 inch cake tin

Put the butter, sugar and syrup into a pan and heat until melted. Take off the heat.

Stir oats and cinnamon. Grate apples, with the skin, into the mix. You can add sunflower seeds, or any kind of seeds if you wish. Add the butter, sugar and syrup mix and stir until combined.

Add to the tin and press down. Bake for 35-40 mins :)

AND THEN EAT!
