Mini Challenge... Lets just get moving 15 miles before Sunda

I am new here and I see that there are groups and challenges, I'm a little nervous so I want to start slow and I'm looking for people to join me.

Here's the challenge: 15 miles in the next week.
Walk, run, roll, crawl, hopscotch, however you want to get there... (Biking wouldn't really be fair - but go for it)...

Track 15 miles this week.

Doing this would be more then I've done in a while... Anyone with me? We'll start small and build up.

    But I am an avid biker so most of my clicks will be biking....
    but I will try and do other stuff tooo

    I'm in chica! Leaving now to run a couple---oh wait, make that after dark. It's so freakin hot I don't want heat stroke.
  • 6.2 miles down but it was on the bike. I'm gonna try to do other stuff for the rest.
  • I'll go for it also. I need a good challenge to kick me in the rear.

    Count me in! I just got home from vacation and my classes start up again tomorrow so this challenge will be perfect for me to transition back into "real life".

    I walked 6.26 miles today. So thats a nice chunk. Means I only need to walk 1.4 miles a day for the rest of the week. If I get a good run or two in I will even get a rest day or two.
    I log my routes on runkeeper.com if anyone else wants to use it for their walks. :)

  • Sunday 8/8 - 4 miles. Way to go ladies we are getting there!
  • 11.26 miles done today. I biked 6.2, rowed .8 and walked 4.26.

    Yesterday I walked 1 mile
    Today I walked/ran 1 mile
    Tonight was on the Elliptical for 1 mile.

    Total of 3 miles so far:smile:

    This is the most I have done since May.

  • You guys I'm proud of you all! I played volley ball yesterday but I promise to get in at least a mile tomorrow and 4 on Wednesday that will be 9 by Wednesday!

    Alright - Monday's are tough. I go right from work to school, so exercise is minimal. I did manage to get in 1.88 miles though. I am planning on putting in a few tonight though. I will meet this goal!

    Great job to those of you who have already racked up some mileage though!

    Please count me in if there's room in the group. You first posted this on Sunday, so I take it the week goes from Sunday, August 7th through Saturday, August 13th? I'm about to go for my walk now, so I'll send you my miles when I get back. Thanks for posting this challenge...it will be fun!
