My name is Jack,

And I am an obese 19-year-old with liver, blood pressure, and back problems.
I've been abnormally tall since I've turned 12 and since then I've jumped from 5'4" to 6'8".

For the past 5 years, I used my tallness as an excuse for me to eat however I want, saying "I'm 6'8" so I can eat these two double cheeseburgers with no consequences!" I started eating like this while I was in my freshman year of high school, while I was playing both football and basketball. My sophomore year, I quit playing sports. I, however, kept eating as if I was still playing sports.
And I continued to eat this way until about a month ago when one of my grandparents died.

Their death was a reminder to me that you only have one life. And here I was, spending mine feeling like *kitten*. But no more, I say! I will be losing 150 lbs in loving memory of my grandfather.

Thanks for reading,

Jack
