    Who cares if people lift?

I lift. Just not sure why that’s important.

I don’t talk about it. At. All. Because it’s a dumb thing to talk about. I tend to delete friend where that’s all they ever have to say is Report their PR’s, or display their workout that day.

Do you do other cool things?

I think you fail to grasp the premise of this entire website my friend.

So none of your friends report their workouts for the day? What kind of MFP friends are you looking for exactly?

Stronglifts 5x5 here! Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning :) Still seriously weak in the upper body but my years of cycling helped my legs progress much faster. Currently working on a custom run/walk program (similar to C25K) with 5K's in the near future and triathlons in my sights. On week 7 of 15 now and already seeing dramatic improvements. I do have fat loss goals, too, but my primary intentions are to improve fitness and truly enjoy life and get the most out of it instead of huffing and puffing my way through it. I'd love to have more friends on here who are fitness goal oriented!

None of mine display their workouts either, but some close their diary and/or log in very many days in a row and we’re all very happy for one another.

    Lifting could lead to injury.

Back specifically. Always with your knees!! Always!

I lifted a bag of dog food this morning and I’ve been wrecked ever since. Burns so good.

Them gains though. Next you'll be moving cars who are parked incorrectly.
