If that face means "frustration", I can understand. Because there is no "right" way to eat. A healthy diet is balanced and varied, and you can eat anything you like in moderation. Log your food in your food diary, and hit your calorie target, and you're halfway there. Set it up to track macros too, and get close to those numbers, and you're eating balanced. Eat some food from all the food groups every day and different foods from day to day, and you'e eating better than most. Get in your five-a-day and you're every dietician's dream.2

Agree with the above. Just look for a balance, not perfection. Just like you balance other things in life - necessary bills vs. money spent for pleasure or work vs. play - balance your diet.
Determine the number of calories you need to eat to accomplish your goals (don't be in a rush!). Eat what you need to eat to get the nutrition your body needs, then use the rest of the calories on treats. It's really not as difficult as many people make it. It doesn't need to be all salads and raw vegetables and boiled chicken.1 -
Thank you both so much for replying. I am hoping it will not be harder then it sounds. It would be easy if my family members started a healthy journey with me. Thanks again I appreciate it.0
