Hi there,
I've been on here on and off for a couple of years. I lost 25 lbs with weightlossresources in 2012, and have more or less kept it off since as I am a passionate runner.
I am doing more strength training now, so my absolute weight is secondary really to fitness and body composition.
I do struggle not to go over my calories though, and would love some help and motivation from anyone in a similar position! I still feel like I'm one cake away from being back where I was...

Added ! .... your story is remarkably similar to mine ... only swap the running for cycling !
EDIT: Ah just noticed you are in Cheddar as well, I am relatively local in Bristol. Looking forward to seeing how you cope with the nutrition of being Vegan as well hopefully your diary will give me some ideas on how to get more protein in to meat-free meals2 -
Ah fantastic! I work in Bristol0

For some reason it deleted the rest of my post...
I run 6 days a week and strength train with a PT once a week, so am making a concerted effort to hit my protein goals to aid recovery and keep me strong! It can be difficult to hit the protein without going way over calories, especially as I like the carbs for running! I have started having Huel for breakfast which is a big boost. Also little things like adding a couple of tablespoons of puy lentils to my wrap on a lunchtime, or more tins of beans/pulses to a chilli or curry. Always happy to share ideas for plant protein!0 -

Hi there .
Keep going it's so easy to go backwards, were all struggling
After yo yo ing for years finally made some gains this year lost almost two stone since Feb. I did the green juice diet for a month a few years back and lost two stones in a month! But a lot of muscle too. So this year I took up cycling and 5:2 fast diet lost two stone then hit a plateau so have now joined the gym so trying to go there every other day. And now I'm going full time huel with two days fast ( 500kcals) and the rest 1500kcals and see how I get on.0 -
I've been in "maintenance" for 4(?) years now. My weight does not really stay static, but bounces around. Since maintaining, my lowest weight was around 110(too low) and my highest 119. I fluctuated around 113-114 for a good while before slowly gaining again. I went to the doctor today and weighed in at 117. I was 112 or 113 when I saw her in Feb. for mouth ulcers that caused me to lose weight. She said that my weight now is barely in the normal BMI range and she doesn't want me to lose. It was kind of a relief, because always struggling to get back under 115 is difficult.
I really try to focus on getting my veggies in daily. I'm not usually big on the fruit, but eating more of it this summer! She recommended I have protein snacks and increase salt in my diet because I am prone to low BP (and postural hypotension) and low sugar. We'll see what my labs show...
I tend to weight train at least twice per week, full body. I also do some videos with cardio and dumbbells. My other workouts are usually kickboxing, running/walking, or swimming in the summer.0
