So I’m turning 30 in August me being at the heaviest that I have ever been (after 3 gorgeous boys) and I thought enough is enough I need to get my act together!!! I’m 18 days in using MFP and eating in calorie deficit I have lost 13lbs so far!!! But feel very overwhelmed when I think that I’ve got another 40lbs to loose

    13 pounds is great! Don't get discouraged. Just keep doing what you are doing, it will be gone before you know it.

    @zb786 with the usual recommendation being 1/2 to 1 lb per week, 13 lbs in 18 days is a tremendous achievement. You're off to a great start. You might see a slow down eventually, but don't get discouraged. Keep it up. You can do it.
