                    Hi There,
A 28 year old female looking for advice! I have set myself a daily target of 1200 calories, I drink 3600ml + of water a day, and exercise (mainly cardio and body weight resistance training) 4 times a week, where I burn between 180 and 360 calories every time.
My fitness pal (at the end of every day) has told me that in 5 weeks i will be between 9st 5lbs and 9st 8lbs... and yet I haven't lost ANYTHING in two weeks? Scales have stayed the same...
Always within my Carb/Protein/Fibre ratios and have even recently lowered my carb intake and up'd my protein.
A bit lost and a little frustrated so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Tori

Have you stayed within your calorie allowance every day? Do you eat back exercise calories? Have you been logging everything you eat after you weighed it? Have you verified all the entries yourself? How long have you been doing what you're doing now?
Exercise, macro ratios, water intake means NOTHING if you don't have a calorie deficit, for real, consistently and for a long time.1

Hi thank you for your reply.
Yes I've been within my calorie allowance every day
No I don't eat back exercise calories
Yes I log after I've weighed it so it's exact.
I've now been doing this for nearly two weeks... so frustrating and a little confusing0

Oh, two weeks is nothing, you need several weeks to see a definite trend. Water weight can fluctuate more in a day than you can expect to lose in a week, maybe two weeks. It's only frustrating if you don't know how it works. I hope this made you more at ease so you can be patient. Weightloss is simple, most of it all takes time.1
