Magnesium Oil Spray?

Does anyone use magnesium oil spray? I just started taking D3 again and I usually take a magnesium supplement along with it, but I don't like pills at all. I read that magnesium is absorbed better through the skin rather than taken as a pill. So I'm curious if you use it, on which areas of your body (some people have said they use it where they have pain or discomfort, I'm looking more for where people use it just to use it as a supplement) and how much works for you?

Huh. Never heard of it. Following for the insights. I take a pill at night. Can't say I can tell if it helps or not - but I'm claiming the placebo effect of it helping with sleep.0

In a medical setting a person with low magnesium would be given parental (intravenous) suplimentaion - for certain circumstances or severe depletion - or oral supplements (tablets).
Spraying magnesium on the skin is certainly not considered best practice for magnesium replacement and or suplimentation.0 -
I use it as a deodorant. If you don't like pills it does come in powder form... Natural Calm, I believe. Never tried it.0

I use it for sore muscles, but I take a capsulated magnesium supplement too. The oil makes your skin feel tingly, and I don’t find that sensation particularly pleasant, so I don’t like rubbing it in large areas of my body.
As for absorbency, that depends on the form of oral magnesium that you’re comparing it to. Some (like oxides) absorb not so great, while others (like glycinate) absorb pretty well. The main upside to the oil over any of them is that you don’t have to worry about taking too much and causing diarrhea.0 -
Take both magnesium pills and use magnesium spray. Better you do different kinds, good.0
