In my early 40's, and working on losing 85lbs., but this time I'm diligent on keeping it off! Anyone in this feed, please feel free to add me! I have a library of great recipes I've gathered I'd love to share, and not only I'm I looking for support during this journey, but I'm a great listener and love supporting others. Losing weight (regardless of amount) is a bit of a challenge in our 40's, but if we support each other, those tough moments we endure we can overcome!1

I am almost 42 and just weighed in at 200. I have lots to lose. I would love to lose 50. But my first hard goal is 30 lbs.

Hello everyone. These posts describe me. I'm 42 and attempting to lose approximately 2 lbs a week until my birthday in July. Weighed in a few days ago at 202. I really want to tone up and reduce my body fat. I really don't have any genuine support in this.2

Just in out your stats into MFP and follow those recommendations. Anything more complicated is just making it difficult, only to be explored by masochists, people with medical issues, and occasionally someone who is struggling to meet their goals.0 -
I'm approaching 40 in a few months and I'm about 216. A few years ago I was at about 240. I got down to 190 then gained about 10-15 lbs back after being sick. Now I'm suffering with stress at work and gained about 5 lbs from stress eating, then got sick again and put on another 6 lbs from meds and steroids. I just finished PT and it's motivated me to be more active...now I just needs a friend or two since I don't have any in my life that I can rely on. Boyfriend doesn't count...I get mad at him if he talks about my weight..I've gotten sensitive! Feel free to be my friend!0
