Maintenance

Hi don't need this just yet as hubby and I just started out on our weight loss. We are both wondering though when you move to "maintenance" how do you know what new calorific intake should be - do you need to change a setting in MFP to have this calculated and if so where is it ? Many thanks

You would change your goal from lose weight to maintain, and MFP will give you your maintenance calories.3

You can set the calculator to maintenance...or conversely, by then you'll have plenty of your own data to work with. Say you were losing about 1 Lb per week...then you know you need about 500 calories more than what you're eating daily.3
