Before, i was on a diet but rarely exercise. My weight was 8.9 to 8.10 stone. Now, regularly exercising, and still on a low calorie diet, my weight have crept up to 9.4 stone! Im losing the motivation. Why is this?!

How tall are you? How long ago did you begin exercising? Most importantly, are you counting calories and logging everything as accurately as possible (i.e. using a food scale, recipe builder, choosing the correct entries, exercise calories)?

8.9 stone is 124.6 pounds.. why are you worried? 9.4 is only 131.6... again, what is the issue here?

Hi. Im 5'2". What i dont like is that i seemed to be creeping up the scales instead of going down. I started doing regular exercises 3 months ago.

How are you measuring your intake? If you’ve gained 8-9 pounds in three months then you’re eating more than you think.

Before you change anything up, maybe think about a different way to measure yourself. A lot of the time with exercise you can gain weight, but you lose inches. Look online about how to measure your waist, legs, bust, etc, and check again later. Try on an old pair of jeans that used to be too tight, see how they feel. They might be looser in the waist, tighter in your calves (getting muscular!). I think these are great secondary methods of measuring your progress before losing motivation over the scale, which can be affected by a big poo for gosh sakes! It sounds like you have made some great positive habits, I would be hard-pressed to think you are not achieving some results
