Hey everyone! I'm new to this site and I haven't really posted yet but I have a question for all of you. My husband and I are going to his company dinner Thursday night and I need to pick which item I want for dinner....before tomorrow morning!! So I need your help quickly! Here are the options exactly as I see them on the menu. I have no other information.

#1 Ribeye, garlic mashers, port wine demi-glaze, asparagus
#2 Balsamic Chicken, grilled radicchio, yukon mashers, reduced balsamic
#3 Cedar Planked Salmon, rice and carmalized leeks
#4 Delicata Squash papardelle, local mushrooms, organic bell peppers, brown butter sauce

I'm leaning towards either #3 or #4 but I'm not sure. I know better than to go for #1!!

Thanks in advance for your help!!

Personally I would go for #3 if it were me.
  • Yeah... number 3 sounds like the best option. It's well rounded. Plenty of lean protein... but if they give you more than 1/2 cup of rice, you may want to only eat half... just my opinion.

Number four sounds very interesting... but I would worry about the contents of the brown butter sauce being a huge source of saturated fat. Aside from the sauce, it's pretty low on the evil scale, although I don't see much protein. I guess it kind of depends on the composition of the papardelle.
