how do i measure how many calories i've burned after each session?

    Get a $30 Mio HRM (Heart Rate Monitor) that will help you measure caloric expenditure. Then your "category" you choose doesn't matter, you just input generic calories.

    Log it as circuit training general under cardio activity. Most people burn between 150-350 on JM's 20 minute dvds, but it all depends on age, height, weight, and of course your intensity. I think with 30 Day Shred you would be okay going by what MFP says. Getting a Heart Rate Monitor would simply add to the accuracy of logging calories burned. I like the Polar FT4 or FT7 personally.
