Ok today I recorded my stuff for what I eat sometimes minus the donuts on a regular basis. I got some tips from a good friend of mind and me and my mom are finally going to lose some weight. The only reason why I really haven’t started is because I haven’t gotten any really good tips on how to do it. So now I am ready to do this and to make myself healthier I will try to update my foods but their will be bad days when I won’t so please take that into consideration. Can’t wait to live a more healthy smooth moving lifestyle!!

Enter your stats into mfp. Buy a food scale and weigh everything you eat (donuts included). Food scales ensure accuracy. Eat to the number that mfp tells you. Be accurate and honest with your diary.
That's how you do food logging.
As far as your motivation to log everything, even on "bad days", that comes from you.
