Dinners or all kinds of meals?

I find anything I make at home from scratch never exceed 550-600 cals a portion. Look at some recipes that you'd enjoy making and eating, use the recipe builder here and you'll be surprised how many meals come in under cals :)

I'd say, make a list of lean proteins, then one of vegetables, a list of whole grains/complex carbs, and sauces/seasoning blends that you like, and play mix and match. Mind your serving sizes, and you've got meals that will work for you. I make vegetables the lion's share of a meal by volume, and often come out with very satisfying meals in the 400 calorie range.

I agree with WindSparrow. My dinners follow 2 formats -- meat/veggie/grain or soup/stew and they rarely go above 300 calories.
My standard meats are chicken or Turkey sausage (variety of different flavors, package serving size), 3 oz of grilled porkchop, 3 oz of grilled, baked or roasted chicken, 4 oz of tilapia, tuna steak or flounder. I do eat beef, but I usually reserve this spot for a good steak every now and again. Obviously the portion sizes can be changed to fit into your calorie/macro needs.
For vegetables I use a variety frozen microwave steamer veggies. There are so many different combinations and it takes the guesswork out of how long to cook them so that they're done, but some of the veggies aren't mushy.
For grains I usually stick to half a cup of brown rice or different flavors of couscous, or I'll just do a double serving of veggies.

I hope this helps, and let me know if you want any particular recipe!
