What's your dumbest reason for not losing weight?

For a while, I deliberately sabotaged my weightloss, because we had moved and most of my smaller clothes were in a storage container, and I was scared if I lost too much weight, I would never get to wear them again :-O Should've just got them resized...

The only people that I knew of that had a double chin were obese, therefore it was my belief that I was just slightly overweight since mine wasn't; however I was actually just 1 pound via being obese then myself!1

Had an injury (that still stubbornly clings to my body). A mentor advised that I seek maintenance until (if!) I heal, but I don’t know what that is for me since my dietician needs me to stick with (a calorie amount that I can’t say due to MyFitnessPal policy). In my quest to blindly seek temporary maintenance, I accidentally re-gained every last drop of fat, plus more for good measure.0

Once I lost the weight I didn't want to tell people how much I used to weight because I thought it would shock them and embarrass me.0

Mostly for strength, but that's only a chimera. You can cut and maintain strength. Volume suffers a little, but strength does not.0

I was in a bad marriage and he always apologised with chocolate and pizza and sushi. I accepted his apologies week after week for many years1

I don't want saggy boobs and wrinkles. I have seen SO many women lose a lit of weight and end up looking 10 years older1
