For me is not the minutes or the calories, but getting it started first and then let the fire of you do the rest :-)

i like to work out for about an hour (if i'm not doing a class, i won't let myself stop until i've done at least an hour). when i do a class, i try to get there early and get an extra 10 or 15 minutes in before the class just because it's easy and you don't really notice the extra time, but working for 75 minutes is better than 60 minutes.

I do a 1hr class twice a week, and only this week did I start popping in the gym for a quick 15 mins on the elliptical, whacking out 65-75 rpm and it doesnt even feel like i'm doing anything :) which makes it eveeeeen better!!

Neither.. cause as long as I'm exercising I feel, thats all that really matters.

Normally though I walk on the treadmill for 30 min and strength train twice a week for about 30-45 minutes.

I actually aim for 3,500 calories burned per week and I wear a chest strap heart rate monitor to track them. So, I aim for calories.

If I'm having a good day, I can burn 700 in 70 minutes (give or take). On an off day, that might take me 90 minutes. And even on a good day, if I swim instead of run or get on the elliptical, it takes a little longer because it's not as strenuous of a workout.

My goal is 700 calories per workout, five days per week.

Neither. I ride until the course I set out to ride is finished. The rest takes care of itself.
