Now its my birthday next week wed and on sat 20th I am going to dinner, I have a nice dress but the only problem is my love handles are a little to prominent which would not be a prob if I had wide hips but i don't!

Any tips on how to shrink it a bit , I am not expecting miracles just it to shrink a teeny weeny bit.

All help welcome

  • Support underwear may be good just for the night?

Support underwear only works on my front belly If each side went in by 0.5inches I would be happy
  • Well this might be a little late in the short term but it's an idea for the longer term - I have a weighted hula hoop. I think it's 40 inches and it weighs 1kg. I don't do it often enough but it does bring my waist in and I also have the start of a line from just below my ribcage heading towards my belly button. When I first got it, it felt like I'd done a LOT of sit ups. I ordered mine online so if you fancy giving it a go it depends how quick it would arrive and if you have time to get some sessions in.

In the short term maybe avoiding anything that can cause bloating and you can get support pants and tights that go up to just below boob level.

  • Well the big weighted ones are easier to keep up as they keep the momentum but yeah it's a bit expensive if you really can't get the hang of it.

    Sit ups and side bends?

Body wraps at beauty salons are very good and you lose lots of inches and are ideal for special occasions

Thank you, I didn't even thin about this!

It would be a nice treat as well x
  • I would go get a waist trimmer ($10-$20, Wal Mart has some good ones) and do some cardio exercises wearing it. It will zap all the water weight out of that area. Cut down your sodium from now until then. Drink coffee (natural diuretic) the 2 days prior AND add supportive underwear if you need to! You'll look fabulous.
