Calorie intake...not hungry

So I'm on week two of following mfp, stuck to my cal allowance religiously but this week I'm not hungry at all eating around 600/700 calories a day and obviously the app is saying this may actually hinder my weight loss which I don't want at all..my allowance is 1200 but I'm just not hungry at all...any advice on what I can /should do would be great

Eat more calorie dense items. It won't hinder your weight loss, but it will cause some major health issues if you keep undereating.3

1200 calories isn't that much. 600-700 calories is a decent dinner. Make sure you're logging correctly. If you need to lose weight, you have been eating a lot more before.
Also make sure you're not just filling yourself up with boring foods. You can eat anytihng you want.
And make sure you're not so excited about weightloss that you choose to ignore your hunger and health.2 -
So, I'm guessing you are here because you are over-weight?
Eat more of the foods you were eating before you started on this.
Eat more in general! Full fat dairy and cheese, nuts, oils, red meat, bread, crackers, cereal - all high cal.
You'll make yourself sick and cause all kinds of health problems eating so little.3 -

This is a really frustrating situation to be in. I can relate.
Try meal prepping. If you can design a meal that is the appropriate amount of calories ahead of time then just know when you go to eat whatever meal that you have to eat the whole thing. It takes a while to adjust to eating more but after a few months it will feel more natural.
Not sure you want to hear my side story to how I end up starving myself:I am addicted to table tennis. Yes. Ping pong. I play very competitively and on average I spend an hour and a half playing. I'd say I burn around 400 calories a day playing. On some days I'll play a lot more, just because other people want to play and I'm an addict! I played for 4.5 hours yesterday (which burns ~300-350 calories per hour).
On top of that I don't eat enough. Yesterday, for example, I had to eat 800 calories for dinner just to get up to a point where my body wasn't starving (which is 1500 calories for me, according to MFP).
I've struggled with this for years. I am just content with under eating. My brain does not want to eat and my stomach doesn't feel hungry. But I'm getting there after working at it for a long time now. MFP is huge for me in this aspect. I just started using it again and I'm losing weight that I've put on my starving and gorging myself.
I really hope this doesn't spark "addicted to exercise" and other derailing comments in your thread. But I just wanted to share to hope that it makes you feel more at ease with your situation. Dieting is tough and I'm glad you know that you are doing something wrong and taking smart steps to fix it.0 -
Do you use a food scale to weigh everything, and log everything, oils used to cook, drinks with calories, etc?
If not, I suspect you're eating more calories than you think.2 -

I've had a few days like that. Usually I end up making a protein shake with spinach and strawberries added to get some nutrients in. I know that if I don't, I will end up eating to much in one day and undo any deficit I had (learned from past experience).
