Workout schedule?

Hi! I was wondering if it is better to train different muscle groups every day or do full body workouts. I always hear conflicting views on this topic, but is one better than the other? For example, Monday will be Chest/Back, Tuesday-Glutes,Wednesday-Arms, and so on for the week. Is this a good schedule to follow or should I be training full body instead?

Everyone is different - it's really about what works for you. I focus on different muscle groups each day. Heavy legs, back/abs, power legs and then arms/abs. I do cardio, stretching and PT daily. Do what works best for you and keeps you motivated!1

I agree that finding what works best for you personally is the key, so do some trial and error for a while.
It also depends on how many days per week you plan to workout. If it's only 2 or 3 then full body is probably better (for me, anyway). More often than that and you can focus on specific body parts and muscle groups.1 -
I do full body. Twice per week or split my second workout into two because of time and energy. Then I fill in the gaps with a video of cardio and dumbbells.0

Speaking very generally... working a muscle group ~3x week is most ideal. Whether you do that with 3 full body workouts per week or several more specific workouts is largely up to you.
I'm of the belief that for the vast majority of us, doing something is 90% of it. What that something is is the other 10%.0 -
Run an actual established program1
