Help staying motivated

I'm having a hard time sticking to eating somewhat healthy and staying within the calorie range that I have on here. Does anyone have any tips on how to help me stay on track? I would greatly appreciate some help.

Think of it this way. Do you need to be "motivated" to go to work? To brush your teeth? To bathe?
Of course not. It's something you do because you have to.

Start small. Dont feel like the whole day has to be perfect. For one week commit to eating healthy breakfasts. Then the next week breakfasts and snacks. Then the next week breakfasts, snacks and lunches etc. Baby steps!2

Figure out what's happening when you break your promise to yourself. Is it the situation, the people you're hanging around with, time pressures? Find out if you are being realistic over the targets you have set.
If it's certain people or situations, try and figure out how you change that. Have you shared your goals with the people you hang with? Ask them for support and help in hitting your targets. If it's at work, or time pressures then try and see if you can create a plan or structure that allows you to stick to your goals.
The main thing is to be mindful of the choices you're making in the moment. Maybe log before you eat - it might make you stop and consider the choice. if you have an unhealthy food, then wait 5 minutes before starting to eat and ask yourself if it's worth it?
Most of all remember this is a marathon not a sprint. Habits take time to shape and you need to celebrate your victories as much as, if not more than, examining your failures. Find out when you're making the right choices and do more of that.1 -
What is your calorie range then, is it appropriate for you, what's your height and weight? What's somewhat healthy, would you rather eat something else instead?0

Perfect is the enemy of the good.
Is your program too aggressive to live with? A plan you don’t follow is not a good plan. Keep working to make your program better.

I love "weight loss is problem solving." That's so true. Thanks for the inspiration in these posts. I needed a boost this morning.0
