Many people report that taking in lots of artificial sweeteners and caffeine interferes with weight loss.0

I was addicted to it LOL... have pretty much weaned myself off it, but I do still have the occassional weekend treat.
I got really bad headaches too for the first couple of days, but these pass really quickly, it's just the caffeine comedown.
I think it slowed my weight loss down in the way that I didn't realise how much the constant fizziness bloated my stomach - I feel so much better for drinking Water with some Orange Squash and I have now started drinking carbonated Water, but not as much as I was drinking Pepsi Max...I pretty much lived on it, most days it was the only "fluid" I would drink.
I still really crave the taste of it but have managed to try and keep it to 1 600ml bottle on the weekend - I fell off the wagon a couple of weeks ago and got back into the habit of having one a day but I have curbed it again.
Arghgh, the Pepsi Max Addiction, it's not good LOL0 -
try switching to regular diet pepsi... it's a caffeine cut, but, if you still need the caff, it'll take the edge off.
i switched from diet to max a couple of years ago, but, found it gave me headaches, and other not so nice issues.0 -
i have given up my daily diet coke, starting today! i just figure theres too much chemical crap in it with no nutritional value... so far so good!0

Don't think there's any question it's not good for you, but I drink around two cans a day and haven't had it jeopardise weight loss. I don't think! And it fills you up a bit...0

oh, and might be a bit too much information....but I didn't actually pee much when I was drinking alot of Pepsi Max, whereas now I have been drinking more water, it seems to flush out more and I feel way better for it.
Might just be me though

I think it balances out, how much is the taste worth to you? If it does slow weight loss it's probably not by much, and it gives you that sweet drink you're craving. I usually drink caffeine free diet coke!0
