Hi guys,
I just want to say hi. Today is the day I intend to get rid of my weight, once and for all! I’m 17 stone 7 pounds and a type 2 diabetic. After many years of Weightwatchers/SlimmingWorld, I’m putting my faith in My fitness pal and my willpower. I’m feeling motivated and hoping it will continue. Any support from the community will be gratefully received.
Good luck to everyone out there on their weight loss journeys. Xx

Welcome! If you want to lose weight, it's going to take a year or two - keeping it off, will take forever. But each day can give you a nudge in the right direction. So just try to get more days in the right direction, than in the wrong direction. Don't rely on willpower and motivation - set up a sustainable plan. MFP is just a tool, a tool to help you eat less, that has to be used correctly in order to work as intended.

Welcome, You can do it just one day at a time, what has helped me out the most was preplanning my foods as much as I can and then adding activity ......good luck with your journey
