Blister on toe from workout

Great. I have no idea what I'm doing, but after every workout I have a wound/blister on the top of my middle toe. I'm doing interval workouts:variations of pushups, lunges, squats and some more cardio oriented intervals like side lunge jumps, fast variations of romanian deadlifts, high kicks, step ups, etc. I have no *kitten* idea where this would comes from. It's such an odd place to have a wound.

No idea why I'm posting this. Just puzzled.

EDIT: I'm working out barefoot, and I guess I would feel it if I chafed the top of my toe

    I'm no expert, but I'm guessing it's your shoes. How old are they? Might be time for a new pair.

    Barefoot. And I guess I'd feel if I scratched the top of my middle toe over my carpet or workout mat, or step.

    My guess would be the shoes too.

    It probably comes from when you do wear shoes, and maybe it collects a little extra fluid during the workout.

    You would feel a scratch, but not necessarily a continuous gentle-ish rub that would cause a blister.

    Does that toe have a slightly elevated joint?
    Try putting a small band aid or toe sleeve over it.

    I have a slightly, barely visible, larger joint on my second to baby toe on my left foot that rubs to a blister on one pair of shoes- no others.

    ETA: I did note you were bare foot, I just gave my shoe example to illustrate how small a difference in how the toe lays, or knuckle size, can cause a blister.

    I doubt it as wearing the shoes I've been wearing the past few days I didn't notice it, and the wound manage to heal again.

    No elevated joint. But I'll put a bandaid over it again *sigh* this evening I was thinking that my toe finally looked good again. And end of workout: there's a new blister.

    A water-filled blister. I was originally surprised where it came from and wondered if I had a grain of sand in my sock. But as I now for the third time noticed it had 'flared up' again after a workout and was fine before it must be related to it.
