By "natural" tasting, do you mean a flavored one that doesn't have an artificial taste or do you mean one that is unflavored?

I've recently been using Now Sprouted Rice Protein Powder and I've found that the flavor blends really well with everything I've put it into (mostly cold brew coffee, smoothies, and baked goods).

My favourite whey isolate is a brand called Beyond Yourself. Its sweetened with stevia. Super smooth texture and an amazing taste - lots of great flavours, French Vanilla ice cream, maple syrup pancakes, chocolate chip cookie dough.... yummm. They're all good!

I don't know that I'd go so far as to label any Protein powder natural as it certainly never occurs naturally in that form... but I order mine online from a company that uses minimal packaging, no real labeling, no real advertising, uses Organically certified ingredients in many of their products, etc... I find it to be the cheapest method for me. That said, I only use a powder when I'm not getting enough via my normal dietary intake so I don't use it all that often.

"Natural" to me means unflavored, because often that's what the unflavored ones are called (natural flavor or some such). Biochem has one I like, although I always mixed it with stuff. I'd expect the natural whey ones (which are largely just whey) are more similar to each other than the flavored ones, where preferences will vary.

If you meant something else by "natural," please say so and I'll give a better answer.

Not sure what your definition on "natural" is? I've tried many different protein powders through the years, and the one I've settled on for the past few has been PlantFusion. I get it at my local health food/bulk foods store, I've also seen it on-line. Pea based protein, vegan & gluten free. Tastes good, I can bake/cook with it, use it in smoothies, as well as just shake it up with water & drink like that.

I use a lot of Ancient Nutrition’s products. I find that they dissolve perfectly, even when you mix them with a spoon, and that they’re really easy to digest. They’re also really easy to use in various recipes. The turmeric and plain flavors make great soups, the vanilla one is good in smoothies, and the chocolate one makes a really good “hot chocolate” when you mix it with water. They’ve got a coffee one too that you can mix with water to make protein coffee.

I have no idea if you would consider this one "natural", but I find the Met-Rx Protein plus to be both low in fat and quite tasty.

I use SunWarrior (Vanilla). Not a fan of the chocolate flavored powder.

I use to use Sunwarrior and I really liked it, but they recently changed the formula in it and they now have over 300 milligrams of sodium per scoop. I think that it makes them taste weird, and I don’t see why they would add that.
