How did everybody do today? I got up at 5:00 and went to the gym to lift weights and do a speed workout. I ran three minute intervals of jogging and running (5.5 mph and 7.0 mph.) It was a good start to the day. Hope everybody else had a good run today!:flowerforyou:

I am NOT a morning person, but I'm so excited to go run this afternoon after work! It's beautiful outside! I haven't been able to run outside in so long (I HATE the cold and refuse to run in it!)0

Had a bootcamp class today but we ran. Did 2 miles as a group. We were only as fast as our slowest runner. We had 3 ladies that struggled but we managed to finish the 2 miles. Since I was the leader of the group I had to run back and forth of the line so I think I got more than 2 miles in. Have a great day everyone.0

Oh man, I haven't logged in all week! Ran 9 Saturday, 4 Sunday, worked out Monday and ran 1/2 mile intervals yesterday. This morning was an upper body work out.0

Hopefully I'll do 3 or 4 today..I'm doing a training program for the kentucky derby mini marathon and I try to stick to the recommendations for each day. Its hard to stick to a schedule! I'm up to 6 miles though so thats exciting!0

Break from running today after 4 days in a row my knees needed a break so just Jari Love Get ripped today. It was rough.....:happy: A good rough

6.25 today... skipping tomorrow b/c I have a million things to do before my parents land at 4:00!!! Daytona 500 this weekend! It's going to be a blast!0

So the temp outside is perfect, but it's windy. And it's been a loooong time since I ran outside. And the last time I ran outside, my neighborhood was completely flat. But I'd worked myself up to 6 miles on the treadmill (not all the time, but sometimes)
Today? Yeah...uh...I think I probably did about 3-3.5 miles, and I had to walk during some of it. It was hard with the wind and the hills!!! But it felt good. I did 40 minutes, and burned 346 calories.
My goal is to be able to run this course the whole way by the end of March. It was a really nice run...I just need to get to the point where I can run the whole thing!0 -
