I just logged my lowest weight since January 2013. In this roller-coaster ride that included daily weight check-ins and 1066 consecutive days logged in, I never got close to my original weight, but went down and up six times. The keys for me over these last two months are...
  1. Determine daily calorie limit and stay under it.
  2. Weigh daily.
  3. Eat nothing but a high-protein yogurt every morning. I recently switched from Noosa (8 oz., 280 calories to Siggi's 5.3 oz 120 calories) #lifewithoutbacon
  4. It's okay to have a small bowl of Special K Red Berries cereal as an afternoon snack.
  5. Don't eat after 7:00 PM.
  6. The joy of being fit far surpasses the joy of eating pie.
  7. Eat red meat once a week.
  8. Stay hydrated.
  9. Listen to my fitness band and get 10,000 steps per day and at least 150 intensity minutes per week.
  10. Strength conditioning - Silly me at first didn't realize the importance of this.
  11. Dress like I'm still in college.
  12. Include listening to today's music in my playlist. Yes, the eighties were great, but Nothing But Thieves, Cage the Elephant, Muse, etc., all sound great too. On a sidenote, I listened to "For Those About To Rock" in it's entirety the other night at the gym and weighed 0.6 pounds lighter the following morning. :)
  13. Continue to book gigs for the band... have to look good on stage.
