Butt progress?

I am wondering how long it takes to see definite progress if you just concentrate your workout around your butt...
So has anyone spend a period of time just working on your butt and do you have before and after pics?
How often did you workout and which exercises?
How many repitions? At what weight?
And lastly how long between pictures?
Since I am a woman it is obviously other women I'm asking :-)

The book Strong Curves by Bret Contrares is all about working your glutes. His program has worked for many, many women. I suggest you check it out.2

It depends what kind of progress you are looking for. If you want more shape and definition, it can be weeks to months. If you want to increase your size it can be much longer and get more complicated!
For me, after losing too much weight (including muscle), I lost all my glutes so they started out really flat. I have been working on them for about 3.5 years now (with a baby in between), I have run several bulk/cut cycles (where I gain weight to increase muscle), following Strong Curves and similar programming. I also highly recommend you check it out.
Are my glutes huge? No. But they are larger than before, shapely, round and super strong.2 -
I don't have before photo's because before I started working out i saw little point in taking photo's but I have tracked progress over years.
I started with the New Rules for Lifting for Women in 2013 but found it to complicated and did the Strong Curves program for about 6 months solidly. I was really happy with the results I got. This was me in 2013 when I was peak skinny.
I have continued to lift weights over the years on and off basis but switched to Strong Lifts as I am often time poor and like the simplicity of the program so it was been more about glute maintenance than hypertrophy. This was me in 2016.
I changed direction re fitness regime and added in pilates, yoga and barre which all helped but that was more about mobility then anything else asI have been channeling my hypertrophy efforts into up body as I got intereted in aerial and circus stuff. I think my derriere still looks good despite not really focusing on that area ( and being an old person) but I think it was i put in a lot of attention to developing those muscles.
Hope this is of some use. But long story short - try Strong Curves program.

I've been training progressively for about eight months and my body is responding very well, very noticeable after that amount of time with progressive weight training 5-6 days a week, two being leg-glute focus for the past few months along with learning and experiment with macros last several months. After reading strong curves I plan to train glutes 3x a week. I don't like pics of myself cuz in them i look smaller than what I see in the mirror. I don't know if that helps your question..i noticed my body changing after a few months, but it's very noticeable now. I eat a lot.1
