This week hasn't been the best. Since I began trying to exercise more I have done roughly an hour walk per day outside. This week has not gone as well. I had my period for the first few days and TMI but I get some very difficult periods. I did the track the first day, the second I walked two miles at a slow pace, the third day I visited friends and only did 25 minutes and yesterday I did 45 minutes inside. today is another crap weather day I am so irritated I dont want to walk inside. I know I should keep this habit going but Im now anxious for the scale based on the lower activity this week. Just needed to vent!

The exercise is great for your overall fitness but probably isn't doing a ton for your weight loss. No need to fear the scale.

Part of long term success is knowing AND ACCEPTING that not every day is going to be perfect. Do what you can when you can, and work to keep the good > the bad.

Get back at it when the weather is better:-) The fact that missing a workout upsets you is a pretty good indicator that you are making this a habit.

Get a dog. Then you'll have to go out, rain or shine, cold or snow. When it is part of your lifestyle, it isn't as hard to do it. I find that even on days like today (ice storm so the roads were a sheet of ice and pouring rain/sleet when we walked the dog) I am always glad I went.
