Are there any nutritionaly sound convenience meals that anyone can recomend? I know that preparing food myself is best, and I do, but every once in a while it would be great if there was something easy to grab.

There are tons of meals in the frozen food section at my Walmart. A lot of companies have come out with options that are meats and vegetables. I've tried some of the "Smart Made" brand and the "EVOL" brand ones. There are paleo options too, but for as good as they looked I wasn't willing to pay $6-8 for something I can make at home.

Second Evol. Stouffer's Fit Kitchen line is pretty good too!

A lot of people like the Amy's meals.

Just remember, it takes about 5 minutes to cook a frozen meal. In that same amount of time, you could open a bag of frozen veggies and some frozen pre-cooked chicken. Microwave it, cover it with a sauce (marinara, teriyaki, barbecue, salsa, honey mustard, balsamic, ranch etc etc ) sprinkle on cheese and add a piece of toast or canned beans or crackers.

Thanks! I am only looking for a very occasional option. I def do the meat & veggie option myself more often than not.
