Looking for friends who sit at the desk all day. Would love to build a friendlist who can motivate each other and come up with different daily fitness challenges while at work. Add me or I will add you.

    I work rotating 12 hour shifts from days to nights in a power plant control room. I post crazy workouts, farm fresh recipes and open diary. Feel free to add me. Here is my view at work. We call it the " Horse Shoe".

    I too have a sit down job, and sitting still drives me nuts all day! I’d love to be in a group of friends like this.
  • 8.5 hours a day at the desk for me. I have a Tony Little Gazelle glider in my office that I use in 5 minute intervals when I can. Recovering from a major surgery fusing my pelvis to my spine and looking to lose about 35 pounds. :-) I'm 42 and in Washington State.

    Here you go fellow desk jockies. Here is my DIY workout equipment I use at my desk.

    1. 3 foot by 5 foot rubber mat $ 1.00 yard sale
    2. Homemade dumbbell with welded pipe fittings $ FREE
    3. Homemade PVC push-up/dip bars $ 20.00
    4. Jump rope $ 10.00

    I am working dayshift today and here is todays workout. I prefer circuit training and I like TABATA music. Its a timed workout, 20 seconds as many reps as possible with a 10 seconds rest for 4 minutes. Then I will rest 1 minute and chose another set. I will repeat for 30-40 minutes depending on how I am feeling. Feel free to try mine or comment on ones for me to try. I am always looking for a challenge.

    Set 1
    Jump rope
    Burpees
    Russian Twist
    1 minute rest
    Set 2
    Dumbbell clean and jerk
    Planks
    Jump Rope
    1 minute rest
    Set 3
    Dips
    Jump Rope
    Dumbbell curls
    1 minute rest
    Sets 4-5-6- REPEAT

    GET SOME!!!!!
