sorry to sound like a newbie but what does NSV stand for? I keep seeing it in the success stories section.

    NSV - like when you are able to buy new clothes size!

    Something that you consider a success that is not marked by a number on the scale. Like clothes fitting better, or compliments from people etc.

    A non-scale victory is any victory in your weight loss journey that doesn't involve a number on a scale. It might be a compliment from a friend, fitting into skinny jeans, jogging longer than you've been able to before, etc. -- anything EXCEPT the scale that makes you feel fantastic about your accomplishments and encourages you to keep going!

    it is anything that is a victory without using the scale number. like when someone notices you lost lbs or you can fit into something that you could not fit in before...that kind of thing!
