Hi All,
I’m feeling like my Weight has slowly crept up from a healthy 65kg for years, to a physically painful 80kg since I turned 40 seven years ago. I never consume junk or soda/juice and I’m a great cook (immodest but true).
I think my main issues are:
Bad portion control, poor sleep that triggers eating once I get weary in the afternoon, eating very fast (to get more important jobs done), obsessive worrier so comfort eating....
No issues with sugar or snacking but CANNOT WORK OUT PORTIONS! It seems nothing is ever small enough to keep me slowly losing weight.

Thanks so much for your replies @lessismoreohio and @kommodevaran. Things have been better but not great. Onwards and upwards. You’re right, I know what to do....
  • Hello from another Aussie.
This is a LIFETIME COMMITMENT, so take it one step at a time. One day at a time.
Making small changes slowly is a great way to adjust.
You have made a MASSIVE first step, now it is just a matter of taking those dolly steps.
    All the best. :)

A food scale and your food diary will sort that out. Welcome and good luck :)

    Ignore "portions" ... use grams.
