MFP: Where have you been all my life?

Hi Everyone! I just finished my first MFP week and I'm a happy camper!
I've been unhappy with my extra 30 pounds for a couple years, and I almost lost hope that I could do anything about it. (See my profile for the backstory: Husband got a brain cancer diagnosis in 2016. He's doing GREAT, side note.)

Here's me at my MFP starting weight (172 lb, a few weeks ago):

And here's me at my goal weight (145 lb, a few years ago):

Last week, MFP entered Sad Girl's life. I felt like there was hope again. I've moved a lot, been honest with my Calories In, and learned a lot in the past week.

I really appreciate the knowledge and support I'm finding here.

I could use some friends. Anyone?

Thanks for making me feel welcome!

Welcome! MFP is great.. and it is so awesome your husband is doing well! I have a friend that has been fighting a brain tumor for the past several years, but he is doing great too. And as everyone else said, you look great in both pictures, but I understand feeling good at a certain weight.. Just be consistent with MFP and you will hit your goal!
