Lose before getting pregnant

Hi there. I am about 70 lbs overweight but would like to start a family. I’m hoping to lose about 40 lbs before we start trying. Has anyone lost a significant amount of weight before getting pregnant and then been able to keep it off?

    I was 250 b4 i got pregnant and lost 50lbs by the time i gave birth...i gaing 30 back since then but u may gain more if u get skinny first! But i wish u luck in the baby department and prayers!!!

    My wife has, she has lost weight during every pregnancy (pre-conception to post birth)... You can absolutely do this. Good luck.
