Hi I’m new here and find this app a tad confusing

Hi I’m new here and this app drives me insane can anyone help me ? I’m trying the keto diet so I’m not eating carbs (rice , bread pasta etc ) it’s a high fat low carb and good protein my goal is 39 pounds by July . I drink water naturally all day and detox water I started today I have been doing a work out every night any tips for anybody on keto or just how did u drop weight ?

    You can adjust your macros in the goals section to fit your keto requirements, chose to manually set goals. Use the calorie goal mfp gave you and adjust the macro percentages.

    Is there something else driving you crazy?

    I lost weight by eating at a deficit almost lost 50 pounds.

    I’m doing keto and using the app to make sure I keep my net carbs in the keto zone and my total calories on-target for the weight loss I want. I found it useful to change my display so that carbs and fiber are right next to each other, so that it’s easy to subtract them (since MFP doesn’t show net carbs).

    Other than that, I just put in all my stats, said I wanted to lose a pound per week, and I eat the amount it tells me to eat. Easy as falling off a log (except you have to actually do it). ;)

    Follow the instructions above for how to tweak MFP to fit keto.

    Also drop the detox water, it does nothing. Your weight loss is going to come from your calorie deficit (and a large drop at the beginning as you lose water weight due to cutting carbs).
