Just ordered myself a hula hoop it's only slightly weighted I think 2lbs
Wondered if anyone had had any great success hula hooping?

Don't be surprised by how much you 'll bruise to start with but it is a fun exercise.

Anything that gets you moving is good I'm not sure how many calories it would burn but it is good fun. Start slow like 5 min at a time and build slowly if you haven't been been doing it for a long time.

I do fitness hooping. It does help slim down the waist line. I am up to using a five pound hoop. I'm having trouble finding anything heavier though. I started with a two pounder, then I moved on to a four pounder. I did notice signifigant loss in my waist. I love hula hooping, and it is a fun way to get in shape.

I also can hula hoop for an hour straight without dropping the hoop once. When I first started, I couldn't keep it up for more than a few seconds. LOL. Practice makes perfect. Listening to music while doing it makes it more fun also.

One direction will be easier than the other at first. Make sure to give both directions equal time.

That sounds fun! I'm so glad you posted about this. I've never heard of a weighted hoop but I'm going to look for one. Thanks!

I hula hoop almost every day! I love my weighted hoop. It's a great change from typical cardio too
