Wedding Countdown is on!

Hey guys! My name is Karel and I'm new. My main goal is to be able to look amazing in my wedding dress. I'm getting married in October to the man of my dreams and I've found the dress I've been dreaming of since I was a little girl! I really want to tone and tighten, especially my back because the entire back of my dress is open. My fiance' and I have recently started going to our gym every day. He is already starting to see physical changes in himself and has started to see the number on the scale go down. While I am extremely happy for him, I haven't seen any changes in myself so I'm a bit disappointed in myself.
My main work out consists mostly of strength training. I rotate between arms, shoulders, and back a day and then switch to legs and abs. Each day I do 15 minutes on the elliptical. I usually always wear fleece lined leggings and a hoodie to work out to try to sweat more. We work out five days a week taking a break on Saturday's and Sunday's.
My motivation to look amazing on my wedding day keeps me going, but I guess I've just hit a wall. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi and congrats!
What is your goal weight , starting weight and your height?0 -
I would say kick up your weight training to 45 mins and intense cardio to 45 mins. I would up your weights. The strength training exercise that works for him won’t necessarily work for you. You have to try different movements to see what works best. Instagram and Pinterest have trainers you can follow that are women to give you some more options. Hope this helps.1

@usmcmp Your thread on getting a great-looking stomach is awesome - do you happen to have any advice on getting a great-looking back for this young lady?
Thank you! Back is essentially the same as stomach except that it usually loses fat before the stomach. I'm on my phone and can't link the "So you want a nice stomach" thread.
OP: You can stop with the fleece leggings and sweatshirt during cardio. More sweat doesn't mean a better calorie burn, it actually could be hindering your cardio. It sounds like you aren't following a lifting program. You should take a look in the body building section of the forums for the most helpful links, there's one about which lifting plan is right for you.
You will get the most out of your efforts by really focusing on calories. If you don't have a food scale buy one and weigh absolutely everything you eat. If I was in your shoes I wouldn't go out to eat at all until the wedding. Restaurant calorie counts are notoriously inaccurate. Same for fancy coffee drinks.2 -

@karelschulzjayhawk Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! I notice you speak a lot about your exercise plan, but do you have an eating plan too? Maybe you need to reduce your calorie intake, or change up what you actually eat. That along with your current level of activity should make a big difference.0
